I keep saying the viewfinders are not big enough.
Sony obviosly know this but want to stiff you for yet another $35.
It probably costs more to package and distribute than it would to put it on camera in the first place.

    look here: http://www.dyxum.com/dforum/sony-mag...opic48636.html

still has an unfinished look. looks semi-naked to me. not sure why they couldn't design one that looks exactly like the existing one even if it protrudes a little more.

Question Do you see what your eye sees?

One of the problems is the eye-detection sensor of the camera body.

I know the angle viewer certainly has problems with that, when you lean it over 90-degrees. It dims down the settings display, thinking your face is on top of it.

Look, I did not create the optical laws of the Universe ... I simply learned to deal with them.
Remember: It is usually the GLASS, not the camera (except for moving to Full Frame), that gives you the most improvement in your photography.

i believe the eye-start sensor is not affected on the a700 but it is on the a200/300/350 with this new eyecup.

How much better does the VF look? Is everything still visible? What was wrong with it before?
