    It's been a while since I've shot high ISO film, but that is still alot less noise than I remember high ISO film having.

    Now, that's not to say that Sony shouldn't make efforts to improve noise levels at high ISOs as compared to its compeditors.

    Never shot any film above 400 and never had any film printed greather than 4x6, so I wouldn't know, but I agree 100%.

    yes, i remember shooting similar scenes bright scenes with decent light, bright colours and no shadows with my d80 and thinking the same thing. it made me feel better for a while until i got into low light.

    Peek and others sorry for the delay in getting back on here I have been out of town. Guys I was being tongue in cheek with my post about pushing to ISO 800!! Look at my stuff, I have shot hundreds of indoor basketball images and night soccer games where I rarely got DOWN to ISO 800, lots of 1600 and 2000.
