Okay ... up North and at the public library. Been busy playing with the portable studio and studio strobes, in the great room. Awesome amount of room, I am just not used to.

Just thought I'd check in ... see what is happening. Enjoy ... there is work happenin' here!

Red face Some table shots ... literally.

I set up the strobes and snapped a couple of the rather unique tables this place has. We'll probably be bringing them back for auction, in Chicago.

These were processed using Photoshop 7. It runs faster on my laptop than trying to load and use CS4. Sure, a little more limited, but hey ... how much stuff do you need to sharpen and color correct?

Most folks around these "Northwoods" parts are not "glass inclined" when it comes to furniture. A good, solid oak is more their choice.

Unhappy I don't like spiders and snakes ...

Speaking of the dread insect ... just as I was leaving, I hauled my unused canoe back into the garage ... and out jumps this thing!

    α700 w/ TAMRON 17-50mm f/2.8 & built-in flash.

I looked at it for a moment and it did not move ... but, as we all should, I had the α700 ready on the draw ... hey, I'm traveling!

I gently tossed the 67mm lens cap off the 17-50, and snuck it close with the toe of my sneaker, just so there was some kind of standard to measure this beast by.

I snapped it and then walked away for a moment, to talk to the neighbor, by the time I came back ... he had found new digs - whereabouts unknown!

Hopefully he didn't hitch a ride back home with ya!

Cool Shooting into the dark ...

Nah, not with an enormous garage to play in, now.

I have to admit, though, looking out of the rear window in the late Evening, sometimes, is amazing, with a long shot.
