    FZ20 Height to Width Ratio

    Hi All,

I have been using my FZ20 for about a month now and went in to have some pictures printed the other day. When I set them up for 4x6 prints I was told that I would have to crop out some of the picture. It appears that the the ratio of data that is stored is not 4x6 (I realize that this ratio is the 1600 x 1200, or whatever you are setup for) but I was wondering if there is a way to change this so I am not forced to lose some of the picture when I print. I think I have heard some people mentioning that you could have strips of white down either side of the print so no information is lost but this does not seem very appealling. Does anybody have any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Jeeves
