Question If SONY were to drop it prices ...

Okay, here's a no-brainer poll ... but it implies "market intent", so what the heck?

If SONY were to have a "SUMMER SPECIAL" and drop all of its lens prices by 30% ... would you buy a "SONY lens" this summer?

Remember: It is usually the GLASS, not the camera (except for moving to Full Frame), that gives you the most improvement in your photography.

A 30% drop I would seriously have to consider the 135mm that Don shots up that parrot with, or maybe the CZ 85mm.

I would be split between a 135 and 85. 85mm definitely seems more practical on an APS-C (127 equiv) and FF

Hi i've just bought the a200 with the kit lens, I picked it up for only 215 pounds brand new from a reputable dealer. It's my first venture into DSLR or SLR photography for that matter. Really enjoying a lot of the threads here. Very informative.

I don't actually have the camera yet. My evil girlfriend has hidden it until my birthday! It's not to far away so look out for some of my pics soon. You guys and gals have a wicked community going on here and i hope i can contribute my fair bit.

    Peace, Dynamex.
