    Congrats, that is a awesome teddy bear.....ohhhhhhhhh, LOL just kidding, Now you will always have something to take a picture of. Have you heard of the thing where you take a picture of the child in the same place once a week for a whole year, The change between the 52 photos is amazing!

    Nice going Elisha ... you have the gear to do it right! Make that, you used the gear to do it right ... either way ... way to go!

    That "52-weeks of shots" idea is cool too. Plan ahead.

    Why stop at 52? Might as well do 365 so you can string together a nice "time lapse" film that lasts longer than a dozen seconds.

    thanks guys. Mr. Logan Nicholas Jesudason decided to come out 2 weeks early. He's only 6lbs 13oz.

    i have some shots with the 28-135mm as well but i have to say that the 50mm F1.4 is way better at capturing the mood than ultra sharp images from the 28-135mm.

    Great photos, I just traveled from Australia to Brantford in Canada to surprise my daughter who was expecting a baby. I arrived 36 hours before he was born on the 9Th of March weighing in at 8lb1oz. I even got to watch him being born, what an experience that was, it was worth 23 hours on a plane.
    His name is Carson and his two year old brother is Logan.
    Congratulations and I love that idea of taking a photo a week in the same spot.
