[rumor] New Alpha 230, 330, and 380

This is from photography bay. I'm calling this one a bad guess. I expect the person that said this just figured if the all but confirmed A330 was a model number, Sony must be adding 30 to each name. However, I'd be surprised if they still had three entry level bodies. In my opinion 2 makes for a cleaner lineup that is easier for consumers to understand.

i really hope they don't bring out an a700 replacement until i'm ready to buy again :-)
or if they do, that the VG for my a700 will be compatible!

yeah the Gold is widely available online from Henry's in here in Canada. they just don't have any display models there or at the Sony Store. but Henry's has recently been selling them off in their ebay store.
probably not popular but then again how would it be if you can't see what it looks like in real life!

How about the new grips on those. Looks smaller than the rebel. One of the things I really liked about Sony was the significantly better grips on the entry level bodies.

looks a lot shallower that's for sure. I wonder when we'll see some hard specs come out. I hope it's before the 18th!
