    A day at the zoo

    Here are a few from the Columbus Ohio zoo, weather was great animals were out enjoying the warm weather. Mr. Rhino seemed to be showing off, he was running laps in his enclosure and sliding on the mud, he would then shake like a dog and fling mud everywhere! The flying fox is just plain strange and creepy, had to shoot through glass so I think it came out pretty good. And another of don's buddy Mr. tigger. Used the Tokina 80-400 AT-X, what a lens!

    Nice color on that Tiger Shot, Sean. Did you lop the tail on purpose?

    LOL no it was a matter of size, I was trying to stay at a image size of 800 X 600 and stay with in the KB size for posting however i think I missed something somewhere because even cropped and lopped the tiger is still what I thought was to big to post here. I may post some of the bigger shots and see how they come out. is it 485 KB or there abouts or did i imagine that?

    The gator shot is nice. One thing I found out at the zoo is surprisingly kangaroos (not rooz) are quite .... boring.

    The kangas may be quite and boring but they seem sooooooooooo laid back! just hanging out, is it me or do they almost seem stoned? LOL and also from a land down under a couple kola bears.

    I like the Rooz in Post 5. I'd title it "Chillen." Or, I might even be tempted to PS in a bottle of beer between the arms of the one on the right.

    Red face The Kitty Cat's Lair

    It's kind of amazing ... they must have the same architects for these zoos, because the tiger exhibit looks very familiar to that of the Brookfield Zoo, not to say that they are not modeled on India ... but still, where is the tall grass and jungle they love to lurk in?
