Lucis Effect

This is my first attempt using this effect. It was hard trying to find the right image to test it on. Not sure if I like the way it came out. Please post your comments.

have you tried Topaz Adjust?
has the same capability plus a few extras.

Pretty cool image Frank, Not sure what all is from the effect but its neat how the detail in the tread of his boot stands out, and the relief in the metal work on the bench.

Certainly different and not displeasing. You can do similar things in photoshop but I imagine the plugin makes it easier.
Which version and how much?

Here is another image I think looks better. I removed some of the yellow from it. I like the way they are staring out of the picture and the soda bottle near the bench.
