    Red face No, it can't be ...

    So, it had been raiing all morning ... and finally, a substantial break in the clouds. The bright sun came out and really started heating things up. I went to let the dog out, looked up and the top of the house next door has what looks like smoke coming off the top. Oh no, it can' t be ...

    and of course, on closer inspection, it wasn't. It was steam! Every house on the block was doing it, only not quite as dramatically as this one.

    I had never seen this effect before, but the atmospheric conditions must have been just right for it to occur. It was quite humid.
