    "The Moment It Clicks"

Anyone else read "The Moment It Clicks" by Joe McNally?

What an easy, fun, informative read! This book has re-energized.

Ok..... Off I go to Amazon thinking I'll buy this book. I do a search and "The Moment It Clicks" shows up on top and right below it is another McNally book that I click on, "The Hot Shoe Diaries: Big Light from Small Flashes" http://www.amazon.com/Hot-Shoe-Diari...8963857&sr=8-2 . I read the reviews and this looks like a keeper as well.

Thanks Nick, your thread just cost me the price of two books instead of just one.

Damnit, I keep getting reminders pushing me to buy into his 3 day workshop here in Charleston; it's $800, though.

The guy is awesome for sure!

I haven't gotten out of the gear section of Hot shoe diaries yet so I'll reserve a final decision for when I finish it but so far... I'm disappointed, in "The Moment It Clicks" little tips like using a bed sheet as a diffuser in a door way were given... here in the new book it seems like he got a few sponsors. All this talk about how great Nikon is and how great Lasolite panels work and how great of a company Bogen is that he couldn't work without their products... blah! If I wanted that kind of sales pitch I'd go to their website. I understand making a little dough off of mentioning a brand but don't leave out the cheaper alternatives because you have a deal with Lasolite...
