Which Circular Polarizer for the Canon 10-22mm?

I recently purchased the canon 10-22mm for my 40D. I am looking for feedback from others using this lens with a circular polarizing filter to aid in my decision on which filter to buy, if any.

    Thanks in advance.

A Hoya or B+W CLP would be good. Using a CPL on a wide angle lens can sometimes cause uneven skies though.

How was the experience with The Imaging World in Brooklyn, NY? Did they call before shipping and try to sell you other products?

Your last comment scares me. I get the picture you bought it and don't use it much.

I bought the polarizer below from the the ebay seller I have linked. He beat the US prices pretty well. I've bought a few other filters from him and he has seemed reliable enough. It does take longer in shipping though, as it's coming from Hong Kong.

Mark is right on the money with this one.

This guy on Ebay (Besteastern) has a great reputation. You won't find better prices anywhere. I've purchased all my good filters from him and they are perfect.

By the way if you want to save a few bucks get this one...Kenko Pro 1, which is exactly the same as the Hoya Pro 1 - I use this one to this day - I used to use it on my 10-22 and now I use it on my 17-40 - great filter....

Personally, I would recommend going with slphotogear over besteastern. I have purchased through him on a couple occasions and I have never had a single problem. Another reason why I recommend slphotogear is because he sells from America. Besteastern is in Hong Kong. I would much rather spend a couple extra bucks if I am helping to support my own economy vs. saving a couple and have all my money help some other country's economy.

    But that's just me.
