PMA (pretty much) begins
Photography Bay posted this morning about arriving at PMA, and what can been seen so far.
Post
It was noted that Sony's advertising was heavy (obviously because they have deep pockets) and prominently displayed the existing line up (200/300/350/700/900) further displacing any doubts about the earlier press release of no new bodies.
Beyond that I thought this thread might be a good place to talk about PMA in general, what the other manufacturers do, etc.
I'm actually going to do another thread about Panasonic's mirrorless SLR, because I think that is worthy of a whole other discussion.

More non-mirror "SLR" news... Scott Bourne (from TWIP) tweeted that an updated panasonic G1 is coming with HD-video.

Wow ... I don't know, Ryan ... I may just have to have one of these.
Uh ... maybe not. LOL
It is kind of funny seeing the 300mm f/2.8, 70-200mm f/2.8 G SSM and 70-400m f/4-5.6 G SSM stacked on it though ... like it belonged there, or something.
Just strange ;rolleyes:

Look, I did not create the optical laws of the Universe ... I simply learned to deal with them.
Remember: It is usually the GLASS, not the camera (except for moving to Full Frame), that gives you the most improvement in your photography.

I wonder if TAMRON will have a working SP AF 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 Di-II LD UWA (SONY-mount) lens on the PMA site. That would be cool for some. I have noted that some reviews are being a little harsh about corner fall-off.

It's the entire "G" lineup they are trying to push. Trying to make it known like "L-Glass." That's why the new cameras drop the CZ Vario-Tessar and adopted G.
