Ryan, isn't that what the little graduated tripod stem allows it to do?
The use of the BogenRC2 adapters is pretty novel. Use can use the lens' tripod mount right on it, too.

i use rc2 for everything..keeps everything easy to configure for what i want to do..
it's pivot is based off the lens center line..as far as the nodul point, it's just a matter of another peice to move it back..but i havent noticed any proplems yet.. did a test shot of my kitchen. the software took care of any alignment issues
