    True, you need, I think, good contrast and texture for monochrome landscapes to work, to create the interest in, or spark the curiosity of, and, ultimately to elicit an emotional reaction from, the person viewing the photo.

    Lukas--these are really working for me. They're outstanding. I'm impressed with your B&W conversions (which I need to learn to do)--the contrast is just right. And you make me want a GND filter.
