    Compact camera with optical viewfinder

I have a Nikon D40, great camera, but it's to big to have with me all the time. So I want to buy a new compact digital camera, but it's quite confusing to find a suitable one for me.

    Musts:
    - optical viewfinder
    - no larger than 110x80x50 cm (4.4x3.1x1.8 in)
    - 4x or more optical zoom
    - good image quality

I spend quite a lot of time skiing (sun, snow, blue skies), so I wan't to be able to make nice shots of the landscape, but also action shots.
Shooting in indoor conditions is not the most important thing, but I would like it to be quite good in that area too.

Manual controls would be nice (shutter time adjustment) but is not a must.

I have about $200 to spend

    Thanks

I've been doing some searching on the web and came up with to camera's which seem to fit my demands quite nice.
The Canon Powershot A590 IS an A720 IS.

The A590 is quite a lot cheaper, but the A720 has more zoom (6x instead of 4x) and a better movie mode.

Opinions about the A590 and A720?
    Alternatives?

The A720is has been discontinued for quite a while. It's been replaced by the Canon A2000is, which is a good camera with a 6x optical zoom, but it lacks the manual exposure controls and viewfinder of the A720is. Another option, though, is the Canon SX110is, which has full manual exposure controls and a 10x optical zoom, though it also lacks a viewfinder.

I use an SD800 for skiing. I prefer having a true ultracompact vs something like the A570/590 which is bigger and really needs to be in a protective case. The SD890 has a 5x zoom (but not as much wide angle as I'd like) and no real manual controls, but I have managed to work around that for the most part with a mini-tripod and setting the ISO.

These cameras aren't great in low light, but not much in this class and price range is.

Canon SD770 IS and Sony W150 also have optical viewfinders.

    Thanks guys,
I found a really nice deal on the Internet ($120 including shipping), so now I'm the pride owner of a Canon Powershot 590 IS.
The camera's you guys mentioned were also worth looking at, but all at least $50 more expensive, so I couldn't let this deal go.

    Greetings
