    Remember: It is usually the GLASS, not the camera (except for moving to Full Frame), that gives you the most improvement in your photography.

    I've gone both ways... I've fired off a round of shots without checking any, then realized that I thought I had set up the wireless flash and didn't ever turn on my pop up to trigger it... or everything was totally blue from the wrong white balance, and I have also been such a bad chimper that when I have shoot with film cameras, I catch myself looking at the back from time to time.

    All the time! To check sharpness (which is a breeze on the Sony's just press the magnify) and blur (hoping there is none).
