FZ20 or A200 or...
Hi everyone! I've been lurking for weeks & researching until I can't stand it anymore... I've narrowed it down from dozens of choices to just a couple: I'm pretty much torn between the FZ20 and the KM A200. I would really like to have the 8 mp from the A200 and the 12x from the FZ20 all in one camera! So I guess the bottom line is, of course, which camera has the best picture quality, sharpness, color, least noise, etc.? It seems that there are different opinions on this, so I'm wondering if anyone has actually used both cameras & compared actual enlarged photos (rather than just on a computer monitor) & has an opinion? If enlarging the photos above 8x10, is the difference in quality noticeable enough to warrant a little more money for the A200 & sacrificing the extra zoom? I also have considered the Nikon 8800, but not sure if it would be worth several hundred more dollars than the FZ20 quality-wise. However, I would be willing to part with the extra money for whichever camera has the best photo quality, least amount of post-processing required would be a plus too, good zoom, IS, good for lower light/indoor shots in addition to outside zoom shots, manual controls to experiment with... Any opinions would be greatly appreciated! Have a good day!

I'm going to go for the FZ20 unless something better suited to me comes out by the time I'm ready to buy. It seems to be a big bang for buck camera to me. The other one I've been looking at is the Canon S1 IS.

i prefer to go for FZ20, (As i own it). I am much satisfied all features in the camera. If u r not really going for v large prints (even 5MP is sufficient for quiet large prints) i would suggest to go for FZ20.
bye
