Wireless pic transfer
This came out of CES 2009. I wounder if you can stick it in the SONY Memory-Stick Pro slot ... and get it to work?

Remember: It is usually the GLASS, not the camera (except for moving to Full Frame), that gives you the most improvement in your photography.

It's been discussed. I think it works with SD>CF card converters.

The converter that was (I think) included with the A100 was a Memory stick to CF, not an SD to CF. If you are talking about something you picked up at the same time, separate from the camera, that's probably what it is.

It's a Memory Stick -> CF ... not a SD -> CF

yeah, one of the reasons I have a strong dislike of Sony is their consistent attempts to create new proprietary standards such as memory stick, umd, and mini disk. One must also mention betamax, but I'm not sure if they tied that one up the way they did the ones mentioned above. Those proprietary standards are greedy, and the cost gets passed to the consumer.
I was pleasently surprised that my a300 took cf and not memory stick.

The A700 actual uses both. While not at the same time (you have to choose which), it is a nice feature, just in case you get a little "dunderheaded" and walk out the door with your media still in your computer reader. Hey, it happens. Life doesn't always wait ... move on. Now, if you are silly enough to leave BOTH in the reader ... I think it might be time to review some "best practices."
