I just grabbed the first skyline image I seen. Did you ever use a tilt shift lens? I found this link to create that effect. Here is the link http://tiltshiftmaker.com/

Normally, I just use the distort feature of PS CS. It usually handles the issues. There is also the lens correction filter.

Look, I did not create the optical laws of the Universe ... I simply learned to deal with them.
Remember: It is usually the GLASS, not the camera (except for moving to Full Frame), that gives you the most improvement in your photography.

Frank do you sit around and stare into that crysatl ball and watch the clouds roll and see the future? That would be really cool, and I think a fish eye would be fun to play with, if your gonna fisheye you might as well be a walleye and go big Don, But man thats a lot of cash for something to play with. be nice to get the whole court in my basketball shots though hhmmnnn.......
