Fuji A850?

Anyone own a Fuji A850 or had one? What can you tell me about it? Likes/dislikes etc.

Saw a bundle pack for $89 included camera, 1GB SD card, case, and 50 4x6prints. plus a $10 gift card from the store it is at. Thought it might be a good entry level camera for a 12 yr old.

That's a pretty generic camera. Never owned one and I don't think I've ever seen one. It's been superseded by the J series. But for the price and the intended use, its a deal.

I just tossed my niece and nephew an old Stylus Verve. They're thrilled because it's a real camera. The point is any camera is better than none and a "real" camera is better than the plastic kiddie cameras.

As was said above, it's a very "vanilla flavoured" camera which most shooters wouldn't look at twice as it's got nothing that 100 similar models already have. Dunno quite why Fuji even released it?

But... for a youngster, it'd be an ideal starter camera.
