Don I just can't imagine some one buying a CZ 24 - 70 2.8 and not knowing it was the right mount, or lens, or what they wanted and returning it, but nice to dream isn't it LOL Brand new open box 50% off, that would be bragging rights here for like 6 months!

Fair enough, but seeings that you can't even get a CZ 24-70mm f/2.8 (except as an I.O.U.) at this point in time ... the point, in this case, is kind of moot.

It's one thing to have it in stock ... and quite another to not even been shipped, yet. LOL -> Not!

Remember: It is usually the GLASS, not the camera (except for moving to Full Frame), that gives you the most improvement in your photography.

It's not out of stock everywhere. Adorama has it right now. And SonyStyle has had it in stock for a while.

That SONY AF 50mm f/1.4, if it is in great shape, will be one of your best performing lenses in the bag. Superior choice of bokeh and rather sharp focus ... as close as thirteen inches.

Good luck and don't be afraid to do the "PRIME lens two-step" to get a good frame.

Haha, very nice. I'm quite jealous, but I hope it works out well for you. It's a heck of a Christmas surprise.
