i'm going on holiday at the end of the year and am looking for a compact camera that i can fit into my pocket, but i will also be trekking around a bit so i need one that is able to withstand the occasional knock. I think i've narrowed it down the canon powershot 410, as i've heard it is built like a sherman tank, and the olympus stylus 410, due to its weatherproof characteristics. If anyone has used either or both of these i'm keen to hear how they fared in real world conditions, any info would be much appreciated.
