Nikon d60 "Capture nx2" product key?

I just received a Nikon d60 as an early x-mas present, and am very pleased with it so far. I've been taking a few raw images and have been looking forward to editing them, but in order to do it, I need to install the including cd (also downloadable software) for Capture nx2, but did not see any product key on the sleeve, or inside the fold-out sheet that was included. Does anybody know where to find the key for the free 60-day trial?

I don't recall ever needing a key for the 60 day trial. At the end of 60 days the trial ceases to operate until to put a legitimate key in AFAIR.

I'm still using NX, but that is as I recall it. You install the trial, and as long as you don't enter a "purchase" key, it loads as a trial. If you enter the key, you don't get the trial message anymore. If you wait until the trial ends, then you have to enter the key to continue.

I am into the trial now with 57 days remaining. The first screen that comes up has 4 choices at the bottom, 1) Continue Trial, 2)Purchase Product Key, 3) Enter Product Key, 4) Exit. Don't know about the earlier post is inadvertantly choosing 2 or 3 above aborts future display of the screen - and not wanting to try. Seems like it would continue as how would you come back to enter the key after purchasing it?

I choose the first option after starting the program "continue trial", and an error comes up saying "An unexpected error has occurred, please re-launch Capture NX-2". The box header is "Nikon Software License - Warning".

I have seen written elsewhere that there is some sort of problem with the trial version of Capture NX at the moment. Maybe you should contact Nikon.

Phew, problem solved. Usually before I open programs, my Kaspersky antivirus pops up to ask me to scan files. I skipped the procedure, and it opened right up :>
