Can you figure out which camera is which? A700 or A300? and which version? 800 ISO, RAW, No NR in lightroom.

And yes, the exposures are different sorry...

Raw results of 6400 ASA, the noise is not the problem of the sensor but from the raw convertor or the jpeg engine in the camera.

First conversion in C1 without nr (0) and without sharpening. Chroma reduced with the moiré tool.



Final result after pp in Photoshop (own nr action). Resampled to 4350x2900 (12,6mp)



Another 6400 ASA, but resampled at 3000x2000. As good as ISO400 on my 7D

Hey! Can you post a link to your original review? I remember it wasn't in English. It was quite an insightful review with DXO and ACDSee leading in the A900/A700. Thanks for your results!

There was a great review of 9 raw convertors by Patrick Moll (not me) at this site.

He posted the ISO 3200 and ISO 6400 raw files.
