    Frank, B&W can be great for mood and impact with the right image. I'm not sure this is it but you could try upping the contrast and a bit of toning. Oh and don't be afraid to crop out anything that's not contributing. Matter of opinion, of course.

    Did you change it to a sepia tone?

    It's not quite sepia, but yes I toned it; I wasn't too concerned over accuracy.

    BTW did you see the B&W image by oric1 in "Picture of the Day" thread. Now that works well!
