Glad that everyone is okay. Lightening strikes, although very pretty and difficult to photograph, can be very deadly. That and the cost of the repairs can be high in a lot of cases.
On a side note. I have been asked to take photographs at a "Sweet Sixteen" party for a young lady in our town. I don't feel it appropriate to charge the parents for this as I am a friend. But, the mother keeps asking me what something like this should cost. I probably will be 2 or 3 hours with about 30 min of travel. I will not print anything and only provide soft copies of the pictures. Anybody wanna give me an idea on how much she "Could" be charged for something like this? I know it is purely hypothetical question, but I would really like to give her a ball park figure.
Don, any comments?
