These tracks are right next to the LA River, but it would probably take a 500 or 1000 year flood before it over flowed the concrete channel.

After coming across a couple of abandoned trucks in my recent travels, I decided to start collecting photos for a new series "Abandoned." Here's an old service station I shot yesterday.

Not that much but I didn't have that long to mess with it plus I didn't have my monopod with me which would have helped.
It felt cheap, but then, it really is cheap for a macro and it's pretty sharp stopped down a bit.
AF was slow and noisy but there again, it's a macro and maybe that's what you have to expect.

I was out with a Mate and he now has the Sony 100mm macro (never asked why) and I think he was rather hoping I'd buy it but it didn't really impress me enough to part with any cash. I'll stick with my two MF lenses for now.
