    Wall decoration will begin ... soon.

    Of course, the custom surround is still missing, as it ships out tomorrow, but will not make it for Christmas (there goes the manger scene location). Still, the whole thing looks rather modern, as it is.

    This image made my day and warmed my ... hearth.
    Adding the finishing touches ... and I still need that base stained the same as the surround ... but, it is close.


    I tell you, it begins to feel like home, again.

    EDIT: Finally, on 1/8/2011 ... the final touch.


    Think I'll go put my feet up ... Ahhh ... only 350 days until next Christmas

    Me too and it's toooo dark.
    Look at those lovely big eyes but no detail in the iris.
