Wow!!! Better you than me. We are getting rain right now. If this storm would have started last week it would have been snow.

Red face Chicago has gotten ...

We received some snow. but nothing like that. Actually more like a bitter dusting, to be honest.

You have my sympathies ... we go clear, but decidedly chilly (low teens and single-digits Fahrenheit) , tomorrow, for the rest of the week.

Believe me, this is no "POTD", more of compare and contrast. I may have deep depth of field, but you have depth of SNOW. You win! Enjoy the prize!

Look, I did not create the optical laws of the Universe ... I simply learned to deal with them.
Remember: It is usually the GLASS, not the camera (except for moving to Full Frame), that gives you the most improvement in your photography.

I remember a comic book from my teenage years where they melted the snow by covering the snow with the soot and embers from a fire.

Alternativly where are the boy scouts when you need them with their bob-a-job:
Bob-a-Job week is when the boy scouts go round the village once a year doing jobs for a bob ( 'bob' is the old name for a shilling, now 5 pence).
