Great job Frank. My only suggestion would be to make the background reflected below and move the reflected globe upwards to just touching the bottom of the upper globe.

Nice picture. You need to try and shoot at a lower iso. I try to never shoot over 400.

Try using Aperture Mode set Iso to 200. I shoot most of my shots at f/8 and adjust from there.
Keep snapping away

Fire! Fire! Well, not yet.
The fireplace at our home is still being finished for Christmas. We took down the wood-burning, 50-year-old one (original version) and are right smack-dab in the middle of finalizing the installation of a natural gas-fueled build. It is nearly done, as the custom "surround" is being finished and the gas-installation with the special heat-generating logs are being installed next Thursday.
Nothing like down to the wire to get your season off to a roaring start, eh? Ho, ho, ho.
I had originally planned for it to be done a lot sooner for a shoot I had planned for the Location Photography class, but alas ... ain't gonna happen.
Anyway, with the new fireplace, came new surrounding walls ... the removal of the carpeting in the living room and the restoration of the oaken floors underneath. Yeah, it all needs to be sanded and refinished, but you have to start somewhere, I suppose.
Anyway, the room looks entirely different ... far more modern and more useful with some aperture changes we made, also. Obviously, the photos will be telling.
Burn baby burn ...

A Photographer Is Forever
Look, I did not create the optical laws of the Universe ... I simply learned to deal with them.
Remember: It is usually the GLASS, not the camera (except for moving to Full Frame), that gives you the most improvement in your photography.
