One more time with the personal insults... very classy.
Every, and I do mean EVERY picture you post on these forums is massively oversharpened. I'm not the first one to say it, I doubt very much I'll be the last.
This is not an "attractive" picture, and there's no way in hell that an 1024x600 JPEG resize of a 14MP RAW file should retain the amount of detail in the cheeks, nose and eyes without said sharpening/detail enhancement/local contrast enhancement, whatever you want to call it.
How about instead you turn OFF the sharpening and see how your pictures turn out instead?

Maybe you should consider switching to Sony since your Oly can't capture enough detail in your RAW files!
Based on your comments on another thread, I suspect you shoot jpeg and lack the ability to comprehend the power of a RAW file.
the LR sharpening is a default applied by LR for all RAW files it imports. It doesn't make much difference at the 1 pixel level.
Go ahead and try it on your RAW files before you assume you know how I process my images.
Don't be hating that you can't get sharp shots!
With my old monitor, most of my shots looked fuzzy and soft, so i did over-sharpen them to acceptably visibility on that monitor. But when i view all my RAW files on my new monitor, it was visible that they were all sharp enough to begin with and have since replaced all my Flickr photos with re-processed ones!

Elisha ... calibrate that thing and all will be well in the world.

Look, I did not create the optical laws of the Universe ... I simply learned to deal with them.
Remember: It is usually the GLASS, not the camera (except for moving to Full Frame), that gives you the most improvement in your photography.

To help ease the tension, how about a nice hot shower
A picture from Monday that got explored on flickr, highest position at #141 so far. No cameras or lenses were harmed in the taking, and actually cold water was used
EXIF on flickr as usual. HVL-F58 bounced off the far end of the shower.
