LOL all right guys so now I have a reputation here I see how this works! Make a few innocent comments, indicate that you find ladies of other nationalities attractive and the next thing you know I am just another dirty old man with a camera! Jeesshh! LOL

    Lightbulb Eventually possibilities

Hey, which one of you guys was supposed to cover the Indianapolis 500? That would have been a great picture of the Day!

Sean ... might want to consider that for next year. I know I am closer, but ... well, maybe we could team up and get the shots. Definitely going to need some long glass for this one.

Look, I did not create the optical laws of the Universe ... I simply learned to deal with them.
Remember: It is usually the GLASS, not the camera (except for moving to Full Frame), that gives you the most improvement in your photography.

Nope he was very much alive. He stayed in that spot for about 20 minutes then flew away. That is the first time I was able to catch one before it flew away.

It's not Indy by any means but the Mansfield motorspeedway is juat about a hour and 20 min. away or so. Not much of a race fan, but it would be another sport to try and shoot. They have rally car races, lots of European classic cars, they also do motorcycle races. One of the security deputies goes over to the rally races pretty often, and my secretarys father in law races motorcycles over there.
