Here is my image of the day. I can't seem to give up on HDR even though I cannot get it right. This an HDR from a single RAW image done in Daynmic HDR.

you can break your original into 3...one normal one darkened, one lightened.......naturally it will look better using the full sized image but you get the idea

thats a freakin awesome shot, although i think you cropped it too close to the camera at the base.
how did you do the lighting at the back ?

i used the light painting technique. that shot was a 30sec exposure at f16. for the lighting, i used a $10 Duracell LED flash light.

Took the Minolta 35-70mm F4 to the beach on Sunday. This is one of my first ever "Macro" shots. And I used manual focus. Hope it works postin this way.

Had the infamous 70-210mm F4 (Beercan) out at the soccer game the other night and captured one of my youngest daughter. I do love the colors this lens sees.

Joe, you posted the link rather than the image.
There's a button (go advanced) to the right and bottom of the posting message box.
The new box that comes up has icons, one of which is "insert image"; paste the link there.
You can go back and edit your post.

BTW the macro mode of the 35-70mm is 1:4 magnification so not true macro; still it get you closer so long as you remember there's no AF.
