Now, I know you critics out there are going to say, boy this image is soft. But consider the conditions under which this was taken.
A900 w/ Tamron 70-200 @ 200mm, f/2.3, ISO-400, 1/1000 second
Taken through dirty, tinted, train window with train moving at about 55-65 mph and surfer about 200 yds away. All considered, not bad ... other than the fact I had to work that day and would much rather have been on that beach having to "endure" the "hardship" of photographing surfers.

nicely done. although you lost the rich yellowy/ gold somehow in the second image. the yellow in the adjusted version looks quite muted and flat.
I should have done this with layers. Then I could have brought back the bright yellow. I always work without thinking. I tried a few different edits but I didn't post them all here. They are on my Flickr site.
