A little toning, crop and nn was the only pp. It was a low sun when they passed, you can see a little reflection on the front window.
O.k. guys nice squirrels! now I got to go check out the buggers in my back yard! And yes the black ones are different, they will 'move in' and kick out the grays, they will also 'raid' the grays stockpiles. way to much animal planet watching!

Among my wanderings at the zoo, they went and planted several hundred tulips in the walkway boulevards ... so I settled in and did a shallow DOF of them ... and through HDR, attempted to catch the very spring-like color they had. I was not trying to capture any one flower, but just the feeling looking across them all had on me. The prior days of rain beat them up a bit. Go ahead, call it a "wild hair!"

It might even make for a nice "Mother's Day" background.

Look, I did not create the optical laws of the Universe ... I simply learned to deal with them.
Remember: It is usually the GLASS, not the camera (except for moving to Full Frame), that gives you the most improvement in your photography. flickr® & Sdi
Nice colors, definitely mother's dayish... what's the original look like? 0ev
Here is the EV (original) shot . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . and HDR crop:
I was at the lens' maximum focal length, so I simply had to "crop for the frame" ... to eliminate the bordering bush, the walkway and the vertical lamp post.
But, hey, if you want monotonous ... I got your monotonous:
It does make one wonder, "Who would plant something like this?"

The originals look a little over saturated (particularly the red), especially on the second one where there looks like a loss of detail. It's very vibrant though. I think the original is much better! A lot more natural and doesn't have that photoshop hdr washed out look.
x2. seems to be a common theme here...too much overprocessing. that squirrel shot is fantastic dr4gon, love the pose...looks like a ninja-squirrel !! lol
