Don, well the 10-24 be out in time to be under the tree?
I've been seeing January.... There's not enough time left in this month. I keep trying to tell myself that I do not need a UWA 10mm lens..... but it seems like all the best landscape shots and some other cool portrait shots do come from a really wide angle. There's just something special about that range.....

Well, if the SIGMA comes back in relatively decent shape (*ala sharp focus) ... I will feel a lot better. Right now, I don't even have the AF 28mm f/2.8 any more to do a mock 13mm f/3.3 with the 0.45x teleconverter lens.
Talk about being shot in the foot!
Oh well ... I had to get 'er done. Time was running out with the SIGMA warranty ... and I am trying to do my "green" part by not wasting gas running back and forth to the repair center.
I was thinking of offering some lenses (about 10) back to B&H Video for a trade up to get the SONY CZ 85mm f/1.4 Depending on the returned condition of the KM AF 24-105mm f/3.5-4.5 "D" may determine whether or not I do that. If it comes back as sharp as some people say it can be ... well, I may reconsider.

if you're looking for a new parka coat then I can recommend The North Face's 'McMurdo' parka. I've had one for a month or two now and I've never had a coat like it. It's impossible to get cold. 5 Hours in -1 on Sunday and I had to undo the zipper as I was too hot from walking quickly!!

There a few funny looking ones on ebay... the coat shouldn't be shiny... it has a more matt-like finish and is 100% waterproof too; a rarity for a goose down filled coat.
Don, read the user comment about 8 down by a guy called 'Chu':
"Warm even in the coldest winter day Chicago can throw at it."

I think my wife and I are going to get a flash for pics for the upcoming baby. But I'm planning to work my way into a Tammy 17-50 so I don't need the flash as often.
Maybe a better laptop/camera bag combo so I don't have any reason not to always have my camera with me.
And Rock Band 2 for the Wii!

No ... just some lenses. I have a couple new ones that I am looking at ... but to reduce the impact to my limited budget ... I can provide some savings on good lenses to those interested.
I have group it together in the middle ... just to make it easier. Thanks for noticing.

We never picked up Wii fit. Keep thinking about it, but its hard to find, and $80 is a lot of money for a game when I'm suddenly addicted to buying lenses. I hear it's lots of fun.
I used to laugh at people playing Guitar Hero, then my uncle got me into it. I played a lot of Guitar Hero on the PS2 and then picked up Rock Band for the Wii. I don't get to play much, but it's a fun diversion.
