    dunno if this will help you but here you go - the prog is ThumbsPlus - I only use this for the batch resizing / sharpening / stamping. I sharpen in PS for pics I post here.



    here are some 640px samples from the weekend sharpened with this algorithm (the original edits are 2560px) - it's not perfect but quite good imo, for my style - I like it sharper than softer - I struggled with this aspect of batch resizing and kept playing with it until I found this, which is the best result I could get:

    Nice stuff delobbo. I think I might think about my work flow.... maybe...... naw.... too much work! hahaha.

    Not bad, have you compared it to CS2/3's Smart Sharpening? That is what I use and it does a great job, arguably some of the best sharpening of any program.

    I have it as part of my batch process. I have different presets for different sizes, such as 1024x680 Horizontal Smart Sharpen, 900x598 Vertical Smart Sharpen, etc. This way I can tell Lightroom to pump out any number of pictures at my preset sizes. Go make something to eat, and come back to a full folder.

    Always remember to sharpen after resizing also.

    ^ I have tried it in the program but not at a batch capacity. Maybe I'll give it a try.
