I'm sorry, Sean, but there are so many other stores I would use before I ever went to a Ritz Camera. Their prices are so far on the left side of the decimal point, it is a retail nightmare. I would do better going directly to the SONY Style store and asking for the 15% discount.
Certainly online, anywhere seems better. BUYDIG, Beach Camera, even Amazon.com!
Not Ritz ... or Wolf ... or whatever else they name themselves (smacking forehead.)
Right now, the SONY A700 is under $1000 (@ SONY Style)! I mean, the best camera you will probably ever need ... $400 off the original price!
That's awesome. You ought to get one, Sean! LOL They are refusing to move on the "Flagship", though. There is a definite "wait n see" period going on, from the initial crowd of buyers ... until the after-Christmas crowd. There will probably be a big move with the introduction of the two lenses ... just to move the massive inventory they have of these things. Let's face it ... two years in steady development/production. No other camera has undergone that kind of development, other than Canon's new EOS 5DMkII ... and that is having serious issues moving, also.
C'mon $2100 α900 ... I'm waitin' for ya!

I picked up that deal at a Ritz/Wolf. It was nice because there is one locally.
I wish I had actual local mom and pop camera shops, Ritz is pretty sleazy, but its better than not being able to put my hands on stuff at all.

Jason... if Ritz will let you inspect the various products ... then do so, just don't waste the extra money buying them THERE. You now know better and have complete access to better deals, so do that going forward. You can save yourself some serious cash and already know what you want. That's cool. Just don't let Ritz-people make you feel guilty about paying their ghastly prices. I mean if they will pricematch, then GO FOR IT ... if they refuse ... find the door.

Jason by picking it up at the store will they wind up being free after the sadisk rebate? I don't know how much this was a ritz promo as it was a sandisk promo. again I don't think I would be buying anything other then odds and ends, my local Ritz is also like 35 miles away!
