Thought you might find this interesting so I ordered all my sony dslr stuff las week and of course Sony comes out with a special 4 days after i bought my stuff. I sent an email to there customer service and they credited my account. I wasn't hatey in the email just asked if there was anything they could do. Sure enough I got a response and a credit to my account for 298 bucks. i was really surprised actually more than i was hoping they would do. Just posting this if anyone gets in similar situation and to let you no what kind of company Sony is.

ps My calculations were tht they might give me 100 bucks so as you can see i was over joyed
