Camera Bags
I'm a nerd, and I'm really interested in both what you are using as a camera bag, and what you carry on a given outing. I figured this has been asked before, but searching dcresource forums didn't really turn up anything good. So I'm curious.
I guess I'll start, but part of the reason I'm asking is I'm still figuring out what I will carry. I currently have a little LowePro dealy that just holds a body with a kit size zoom, so I can just throw that in a bigger bag. I also have the alpha branded bag that came in the kit with a spare battery. I use that one when I want to bring my other stuff. When I carry the full bag, other than whats listed in my signature, I carry a circular polarizer, the lens hoods, cleaning cloths, and the USB cable. I use a card reader at home, but have that extra cable with me so I can plug the camera in directly in a pinch.
Some good whats in my bag stuff here, here, here, and here.

I have a case logic SLR Zoom lens holster
Great for a camera+1 lens attached (17-50 with hood and 70-300 without).
And a Kata DR-467 for my upcoming trip to Toronto, Canada.
It'll be perfect for my lenses and laptop!

I have several bags, various sizes.
One for the S3 and possible spare batteries, manual and minipod at most.
Another for DSLR with mounted lens and a second lens (or two lenses if I don't put the camera in it).
A "holds everything" for when I want all my DSLR stuff with me.
I'll sometimes leave the flash at home as I never use it, and pretty much never use the tripod (except once or twice a year). I should take the monopod more, though, as I thought I'd compromise for not using the tripod :-).
Oh, none of the bags has a zipper around the top. I guess I have a phobia about them scratching things.

Usually I take the Lowepro Flipside 300, but I also have the Nova 3 AW. I carry my camera body with the 16-45mm f/4 lens, a CPL filter and a couple GND filters, a couple flashes, triggers, cleaning stuff, batteries and memory cards. I almost always take my tripod and sometimes I take a flash stand or two.

I could tell you but I wouldn't want you to get all pissy if it's the wrong brand
