That pretty much tells the story, Frank. I had the same issue with the KM 100-300 f4.5/5.6 to the extent that I wouldn't use it out at 300mm. It was ok-ish up to 200mm but when I superceded it with a 100-200mm it's never really seen the light of day again.

All in all though, your actual images are more than acceptable (at smaller sizes).
