Hey Don did you see on the wide angle shot on the right hand side about a third of the way up you 'captured' someone composing a shot with live view also.

No, I had not inspected the shots for detail, other than sharpness and contrast.

I used all four lenses that I took with me, but was disappointed with the result of the Minolta AF 24-105mm f/3.5-4.5 'D'. Next time I use this combo of lenses, I'm replacing it with the Tamron SP AF 28-75mm f/2.8 XR Di LD Aspherical (IF) MACRO
I won't even post the results I got from the Minolta, today.

Nah, did not see any, but I was so exhausted from standing there, for four hours, they could have had naked dancing girls and I could have cared less. I just wanted to get back to my truck and go home.
With my back injury, prolonged standing is really tough on me, especially with the heavy lenses hanging around my neck. No more of these, that's for sure.

Tell me more Don of the Minolta 24-105 was it just not the right lens for the situation, the location the lighting or what? This is a lens on my 'watch to buy it' list, so advice welcomed.

Make the call
The Minolta 24-105mm was not sharp at all, shooting infinity. That's about it. Compared to my other shots, it was rather tragic. So, I learned something, today.
Here's one of the better 24-105mm shots ... you decide.

I'd say they are really sharp (from the downsized pictures). I'd love to see them in person! Texas is just so insignificant right now. She came to Dallas for a "luncheon" $10,000 a plate, 100 invited/attended = EASY $1mil for ~2 hours.
