    Shaker Village

Haven't posted any recent shots so thought I would. Nice day for a drive so we went to Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill. Here's a few favorites.

Love the utensils shot. It's very "Autumn" with the colours out of the window.

Thanks, glad you like it. Unfortunately the fall colors aren't as intense this year due to the dry weather.

Thanks. I like the stairs shot as well. Took several from both sides. I also shot a few looking up. I agree - lots of photo ops there.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it. I'll probably go back and do some more shots of that room. I screwed some of them up when I didn't notice that the lens hood on the 10-22 was not on proper. Should've paid more attention. The only thing I don't like about the 20D is the lcd.

Shaker Village was built by the Shakers, a breakoff religious sect from the Quakers. They led a life of simplicity, but were amazing in some of their skills. They made/make some of the finest furniture available.
