A few more to bore you with!
One of the girls parents runs a advertising graphics printing company, they did the vinyl blow up banners of the senior girls from some of my photos, pretty grainy up close biut look fine at a distance, the girls loved them.

Looks like the interest in their school sports was beyond the call. That's way cool.
Where to, now? World league soccer tryouts?
A good studio strobe or multiple elex strobes would have served you well, in this situation. The face shadows are a little distracting. Bounce reflectors would have been a cheap alternative. Once again, indoor photography is often time consuming and always seems to require more than is available.
Great subject, though ... just a bit too candid.

Remember: It is usually the GLASS, not the camera (except for moving to Full Frame), that gives you the most improvement in your photography.

Thanks Don I think a HVL-58 would have done a good job there also LOL, and I think i should have got closer and shot smaller shots? Just not used to getting in close yet.

I know what you mean about getting in close. I wasn't going to take the shots of the cigar roller and then I just stepped up and snapped a few. I passed on a few other shots for the same reason.

I think you did well, I agree with don though, more light!
Definitely post more photos in more brightly lit places
