Bridge HDR Takes today
Here is another try at some HDR.
Unfortunately, I took these hand held again. I never seem to have my tripod with me. My problem is that my A350 will only shoot brackets of.7 stop. I know I can do it in manual but not hand held.
So I tried to get a couple pictures. The first one I tried some color separation to get it almost like B&W, with a tint of color I like the effect. What do you think.

Then I tried again to move the curve and get a decent color.

Well What do yo all think. The light was flat due to the cloudy day. I think both of them could be better on a nice sunny day.

I like to shoot on cloudy days. The sun makes it had to control the blown out areas. I think hand held it is hard to do HDR look at the leaves in the second image. That is why you need a tripod. You need to bracket your images more also.

I wish there was a quick way to bracket with the A350 but there is not. For me to do it in manual takes too much of moving the camera. I need to take the tripod with me everywhere. I was not planning on taking any scenic shots. It was my daughter's soccer day. I took about 500 pictures at the game and then on the way back I saw a cool view, I had to stop and get a few. It was really windy too. That may have had more to to with the leaves than me moving the camera. I have to get a more stable tripod too. My best time to shoot is either sunrise or sunset. I think the lighting is perfect at that time.
I am just getting back into photography again, so I have to learn all the composition things again.

Is the firmware V4 update just for the 700? have you checked online to see if there is a new version for the 350? dr4gon do you know? With the 700 you can now increase the bracket range with the update.

that looks nothing like a HDR
to be honest I've never seen any software that can auto-emulate HDR, its a manual process where you have to do the dirty work

No sorry not saying you can use the software to make it HDR was saying with it you can increase the EV bracketing to make it a bit easier to use the images when you make HDR.

I just did a little research regarding the firmware upgrade. It looks to be only for the 700. Maybe they will think of us 350 users as well.
