Sorry for the delay ... dinner.
Okay, I flipped it around and brought into accordance with my prior idea.
Here it is ... I hope it makes a bit more sense:

The light blue lines are whatever lens angle you are at (depending on focal length - assuming 28-35mm -> Remember to tape the zoom down so it does not change on you during the shoot! ), from the relative position. It is important that #1a and # 1b lens lines CROSS behind the billboard, eliminating the need for any cropping of the billboard at home. It has to be out of the frame for this to work correctly.
If those are trees by the one "# 1a" position, you may need some height to deal with it, like a ladder or mount the tripod on the back of a pick-up truck bed. Anything to provide a clear shot. (Chainsaw?) LOL

You may have me, there, Frank.
Anyway, do feel this is doable? I would like to see the results and since it is only (my guess) about 3 miles away from you ...
I guess you can pick your day.
I also added a fourth position, "# 2", to the above ↑ site map ... which would be directly in line with the billboard so you
could use that image as a source to clone things near "the billboard" back into your panoramic image.
The ultimate cut and paste project, for the week, eh? LOL Good luck, Frank, and try to keep the horizon level and
in roughly the same spot.

Jeez Don, looks like a tactical deployment map, fileds of fire lines, 2 interlace points, is the billboard our "objective" LOL just having some fun guys. O.K. suck up for the week time, Don I can learn more from you on technique and technical applications in 10 mins. then in a couple of hours of research and reading.

DO NOT BE DETERED, Frank! We're talking art here. Nothing is sacred! LOL!

I am just pointing out how to Exorcise that unsightly billboard ... which should have probably been removed many years ago!
If those stantions were made of wood ... one night ... Brrp ... Brrp ... Whhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa ... Zip Zop .... Ker-plop! -> Now, part of the marshland, mysteriously reclaimed by Mother Earth (or her cohorts in the photography world).
Anyway ... that's the plan, Stan. I am just trying to keep the powder dry, from satellite, no less! Now, go get creative!
