Not happy with the softness of these images. I used the on camera flash. ( I know need a real flash). I didn't put it on fill flash. I need to take more time setting the camera before I start shooting. Dose anybody have a list of things they check before they start shooting? I need to make a checklist so I don't forget stupid things like this.

    Thanks Frank

Looks like it got really cold in a week's time!

I forget to check things too, but I try to make sure:

Before I leave: Make sure I have a CF card in and it's not in my reader! , battery is charged (forget this one a lot, now with 2 batts, I think I'll be covered better).

SSS is on (or off if on a tripod)
I'm in A mode for general pictures
    Center Weighted Metering
Spot Focus (I could use the local focus, but I press the arrows accidentally too much and it ends up moving my focus AF point and it bugs me)
    ISO100 (daytime)

.... oh yeah, and remove that lens cap thingy, sort of important... *sigh*
