    Smile Feed the Birds ... Tuppence a bag

    I noticed the birds were still feeding as evening approached (the moonshot with the CZ 135mm f/1.8)

    so, I got a couple of bird shots with the 70-200mm (@ 200mm & cropped for frame)
    (Has a kind of 3-D look to it, doesn't it?)

    Look, I did not create the optical laws of the Universe ... I simply learned to deal with them.
    Remember: It is usually the GLASS, not the camera (except for moving to Full Frame), that gives you the most improvement in your photography.

    Lol... I like the 2nd pic.. the bird actually looks annoyed that you are bothering him during his meal.

    Red face Flash had no apparent effect ...

    To be honest, no. Actually my moving around was far more annoying to them than repeated flashes. I think that actually had them more curious, than annoyed. I took nearly 16 shots and it wasn't until I changed lenses that they got upset.

    What the heck ... here is a 135mm crop-shot of the cardinal on another feeder:
