A New Meaning to Waterfront Property
This is a few houses on the bay. The winds were only 25 MPH and the tide wasn't high yet. I will try to go back tomorrow when the storm hits. They are calling for 45 MPH winds out of the northeast.

The sign should read WET END

Well, at least they put the boat BEHIND the house ... for a hasty retreat! LOL
I know I had my canoe "at-the-ready" ... as the water rose around my house. Problem was: all the dry land was beginning to disappear.
A "Nor-easter", eh? More excellent photos to follow, I'm sure.
Stay dry, Frank

I am in land so I am safe. I hope it don't get too bad. They are calling for three days of rain.
Thanks

Here is an update. It rained hard all night with 40 MPH winds. I went back but the tide was out, but you can still see where the water came up to by the grass in the street.

Frank have you noticed any problems with the camera or the lenses being around all that salt water? there has to be a high amount of salt suspended in the air, any coatings or haze on the glass? Do you do anything extra or special after you been out around the ocean? Just collecting info. for the furure.

About one more ice storm, and a rough Ohio winter I may think about it LOL. Just things to think about and know for the future, always learning, or at least trying to, My brother lives in Florida, and I have lots of family and friends in Northern Ireland. Like the boy scouts say be prepared!

When I come home I wipe the camera and clean the lenses. I keep it in my camera bag when I am not using it. I never get it close to the spray from the water. That is about all you can do except take pictures inside. And I suck at that.LOL
